Uko is a graduate of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka where he studied Mass Communication.

He later worked for some media houses as a reporter for some years. Thereafter he moved to PR where he worked for leading PR consultancy, The Quadrant company and Workstation. He has also worked for Nigerian Bottling Co, bottlers of Coca Cola products in Nigeria.He returned to journalism again after his PR stint with NBC Plc, when he co-founded the online based media, Quick News Africa few years ago.

Uko brings to his new job, more than 10 years experience in journalism and PR.
