Samsung Launches Latest Galaxy ZFold 8,Fold 8Ultra

Samsung Electronics has launched the latest models of its flagship Galaxy smartphone—Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Fold 8 Ultra in Nigeria.
After weeks of market expectation and prepping the market through pre-orders, the Galaxy Fold 8 and Fold 8 Ultra were released July22,2026 and got to retailers early to mid-August. Several weeks before the launch,Samsung had put teaser ads on digital online media including Facebook to herald the GalxyZFold 8 series.
Samsung West Africa Head of marketing and communications, Oge Maduagwu said the Fold 8 Ultra was the slimmest smartphone of its kind on the market. The enhanced features of the Fold8 series include more Ai features and a more long lasting battery. Stephen Okwara head of product management ,Samsung West Africa puts the price tag of the Galazy ZFold 8 series at around N3million. Quite steep but its Samsung’s flagship model targeted at the upper end of the smartphone market.How well the android based GalazyZ Fold8 would rival the iphone’s recent model on the market would be seen in coming months.
